Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Event partners and sponsors, only if you have agreed to this.
  • Our accountants, auditors and advisers, and the non-profit regulator, when needed.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside the Cayman Islands. When they do, we take steps to make sure your information is protected to the standard the Data Protection Act requires.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can change your choice at any time through our cookie banner.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and mailing-list details for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a member. We keep member records for as long as you are a member and for six years afterwards for accounting and legal requirements. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required or entitled to keep it, for example for our financial records or a legal obligation. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. We review our records at least once a year and delete enquiries that have passed this period.

How we protect it

We limit access to the people who need it and use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep it secure. If a data breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the Office of the Ombudsman without undue delay and within five days of becoming aware of it.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
